Description
It was made at the Treasury Bureau of Coinage (寶泉局), however the word of 泉 (Treasury) had been revised to 薊 (the name of the city – Hebei ) on the coin. The revision of the word on this coin believed to be a counterfeit coin as a rare piece at that time in order to sell to the previous collector who was a foreigner back in the 30’s.
In the revised area, can clearly see the scratches left from the carving.
