The white coating formed by the residues is still presence on the surface of the bead. The residue will be removed with as simple as the human handling by just rubbing the bead with hands, once the residue would be removed, the smooth and shiny surface will be represented.
However, the handling of the antique artefact have changed throughout the years. Decades back, tend to be removing all the dirt and the residue that were clinging on the artefact, however now will only do the minimal restoration of it, by removing the thick layer of dirt only and keeping the trace of the history on the artefact.
This is to minimize the damage to the artefact and to pled respect to the skills in preserving the artefact in the ancient time moreover to appreciate the nature playing an important role to preserve the artefact and give us the trace to trace back to the history.
